At our brand new superstore in Rotherham we are pleased to announce that we now stock and have on display a number of genuine Italian leather sofas in many different styles, colours and sizes. But what makes Italian leather so great? When you come into store and feel the difference, you’ll almost fall in love with how smooth and comfortable it is. All sofas that are genuinely hand crafted in Italy are tanned using only natural methods, namely vegetable oil. The process was invented many many years ago in the Tuscan tanneries and such has been refined with a high level of skill. The result of this is that you receive a smoother finish that’s more comfortable, but not only that, the leather is more resistant and elastic and a lot more comfortable to sit on.
